So sad! I was hoping to join the celebration with Raven and Gomem and all of their friends, however, curse the time zones (who on earth invented this crap?) – I cannot come. It’s too late for central europe. 3 AM – no way I could manage that in the middle of the week. So sorry, Raven and Gomem! I’m sure it will be a great event.

It’s doing it again. Yesterday and today – it happened several times while I was in shops. Yeah, I’m not the only one. Mmmh, thinking whether I should start a business or some media platform.
There are several ways to earn a Linden: dance pads, camp chairs etc.. This one – flower gardening – I haven’t seen before. That’s why I like it.

Matt Bidulph has provided a simple, quick and dirty example (though way over my abilities) of controling behavior of an object in SL from RL. He hacked the new OpenSource-Client and attached a physical sensor. Looks, as if a computer mouse could do the job, but you get an idea of what could be accomplished, and that controling RL-devices from within SL isn’t far away as well. Hey, guess what – add-ons for RL body parts surely will be pioneering. [via Pixelsebi]
I am visiting Venice on of the oldest Sims (land was claimed on April 29th 2003). No boats on the canal though. However, there is a bakery. I should try some Cherry Pie.

New epidemic on german speaking sims: Newbies running around, trying to talk everyone into touching their rucksack. Man, I heard that a thousand times! Seems to be an Anti-PR-campaign.

Das GNC, das gerade erst auf einem der Pixelpark-Sims eroeffnet hatte, steht schon wieder leer und ist offenbar verwaist. Das neue Center sah schick und professionell aus, war grosszuegig angelegt und offenbar Bestandteil einer ambitionierten Planung. Nun darf man mutmassen, was los ist. Ist das GNC-Team in die Lindenfamilie aufgenommen worden? Wurden die Spenden fuer den Moneytree in Sexclubs verprasst und die Mitglieder befinden sich auf der Flucht oder in einer Klinik fuer Geschlechtskrankheiten? Oder haben sie sich kollektiv einer Sekte angeschlossen, die ueber die Sims streunt und die SL-Community mit der Aufforderung nervt, man moege ihren Rucksack beruehren?
